Almost every patient is different and so diagnosing each individual's affliction is a very important first step. In some cases, a patient's pain can be alleviated through simple exercise and proper nutrition. However, most back and neck pain will require chiropractic care on some level. Beyond the adjustment, exercise and proper nutrition will help to keep the pain away.
Common SymptomsThe spine is your body's "nervous system highway". Every nerve throughout the human body will eventually connect with the spine. Because of this inter connectivity, stress or damage localized to the spine can result in pain anywhere in the body. If untreated, the damage or stress on the spine can degrade and enlarge the areas of pain and/or cause the pain experienced to intensify.
The most common symptom of spinal stress or injury is back pain. While the spine is your nervous system highway, damage to the spine affects more than the nerves. The pressure from a bulging disc, for instance, will cause a painful sensation along the nerve as well as in the muscles immediately around the bulge. Damage or stress at any point along the spine will have a similar effect to a bulging disc, causing pain in the area of the body associated with that spinal region as well as pain in the muscles within that region of the spine.

Before we can eliminate your pain, we need to find the cause. At Inline Chiropractic, we use all of the latest techniques, equipment, and technology such as spinal & postural screening, x-rays, and of course the skilled hands of Dr. Brannan to pin-point the source of your ailment.
X-Ray: At times it can be difficult to determine the exact source of your pain. That is when we turn to x-ray. The x-ray illuminates the spine, emphasizing areas of misalignment, compression, bulging, and a number of other signs of damage. Once the source of your pain is established, Dr. Brannan will be able to provide treatment suggestions.
Spinal & Postural Screening is another diagnostic procedure that provides a picture of your spine during your daily movements. In basic terms, the spinal & postural screening shows us how your spine lines up with the rest of your body. As your body moves and bends, pain from the damaged or stressed areas around the spine can be accentuated as the area moves back and forth between muscles, nerves, and bone.
