The hot stone massage replaces the strong pressure and hand movements of a normal massage with the weight and heat of volcanic stones placed in specific areas along your spine and over key pressure points.

Therapeutic Massage: This describes the experience of a massage - manipulating muscles with movement and pressure to alleviate pain, stress, and discomfort. Inline Chiropractic offers a wealth of massage styles to meet the needs and comfort level of all our patients.
Relaxation Massage: A style of massage designed around you. The Relaxation Massage is just as it sounds - a time for you to rest and relax. Subtle movements and pressure enhance the experience.
Hot Stone Massage: Smooth, polished, and warmed river stones are applied along the spine. The weight and heat from the stones penetrate deep to relax the muscles and release tension.
Foot Reflexology: The many regions of the foot coincide to specific muscle groups within the body. Stimulating these regions sends a reflex response to the region essentially "resetting" the muscles in that group, causing them to release tension and toxins that inevitably build up through daily use.
Myofacial Release: This form of therapy focuses on the body's soft connective tissues. Essentially, the massage therapist simulates the stretch reflex to relax constricted muscles, improve circulation, and restore mobility in the tissue.
Deep Tissue Massage: This massage technique targets the inner layers of muscle and connective tissues. This technique works wonders for patients who experience consistent pain, have sustained a physical injury, or are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes).
Cranial Sacral Therapy: This technique eases nerve passage restriction and promotes the flow of cerebrospinal fluid by applying slight pressure to the skull and spine of the patient. By promoting fluid movement in the spine, we encourage the spine to heal itself.
Chair Massage: When you do not have time for a full massage session, a chair massage may be the perfect thing. Almost any massage technique can be applied as the patient sits comfortably in a chair, the therapist applies needed pressure to the shoulders, neck, and upper back to relieve stress, relax muscles and promote circulation through the upper body.
Lymphatic Drainage: The lymphatic system moves fluid throughout the body. This fluid removes toxins from healthy cells and providing germ-fighting materials. This lymphatic system has points similar to pressure points for muscles that allow a trained lymphatic therapist to purge the nodes, draining them of the toxins left from daily activity.
Fibromyalgia Massage: Massage therapy is one of the most effective treatments against the aches, pains and stiffness of fibromyalgia. A massage session helps to eliminate pain and stiffness naturally by increasing circulation to muscles in order to speed up their repair process.
Prenatal Massage: This style of massage caters specifically to expecting mothers. The therapy is proven to reduce anxiety, relieve muscle and joint aches, and even improve labor outcomes and newborn health.
Labor Massage: A good massage is one of the more enjoyable ways of starting labor. By relaxing the body's muscles, the amount of stress hormones in the blood drops. It is these hormones, like adrenaline, that are known to slow or reduce contractions, thereby limiting the onset of labor.
General Pain Relief: Pressure points throughout the body are the key to relieving pain. No matter what area of the body experiences the pain (headaches, back soreness, muscle pain, etc.), that area will be tied to a pressure point and with the right amount of pressure and muscular manipulation the pain can be relieved.
Sciatic Nerve Pain Relief: Sciatica refers to the pain radiating across the sciatic nerve. In severe cases, pain can be experienced from the lower back and buttocks , through the legs and into the feet. The location of the pain, type of pain experienced, and severity of the pain all depend on where the sciatic nerve has been damaged. You could cover up the pain with medication, but this will not "cure" the problem. Lymphatic drainage therapy will help to heal the nerve naturally, but will take several sessions.
Reiki: Reiki healing is performed in tandem with different massage techniques to rejuvenate a person's aura and situation. The pressure from the massage over the body's energy centers begins at the head and continues through the rest of the body, promoting physical and spiritual well-being.
Headache Relief: Light pressure and kneading is applied to the body's pressure points to alleviate the pain causing headaches.
TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder): This disorder leaves the patient with pain throughout the jaw, specifically a limited range of motion in the lower jaw. Treatment of TMJ targets the mandibular muscles as well as the skull's lymph nodes to release muscular tension and promote fluid movement.
